FILMING

FILMING IS DONE.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

10/10/10

Ok. One how cool is the date today?!
Anyway.

We might actually get filming done today.
We plan to shoot the CCTV footage of where the girl gets kidnapped, and we plan to film it from the roof of a car park, looking down to the pathway.
Then we plan to shoot the dragging scene where the young girl gets dragged through the woods by the kidnapper. Not sure how we plan to do that exactly, but we shall see.

Will write later :)

Filming: Day 2

Hiya

Got in from filming in the rain, definetly got soaked right through and 4 hours later, still bloody freezing, but nonetheless, filming went well.
Had a few creative differences with my fellow director on how things should be shot and where from and what the actors should be doing, but we came to the conclusion that as long as we did all the shots, from different angles, then it doesnt matter - we can decide when we edit it.
Got a small amount left to do on Sunday.

Just looking forward to being able to edit it.. and no more filming! YAYY.

Speak soon

Day 1 Filming - 28/09/2010

hey guys
this is basically a new blog to document the journey of making an a level film for coursework. i wanted to keep track of what we were doing, how we were doing, why, where and when and couldnt think of any better way, than a new blog :)

Day 1 Filming. 28/09/2010.

Yeah. Didnt go so well. We went to the set, which is a woods near my best friends house, and its perfect for the film. Its muddy, dark, so scary and exactly like we wanted it to be, although I cant take any credit for it, as it was Becca's idea.
However, when we got there, we ran through with the actors just what we wanted them to do, scripts were given out and everything was going okay. Until, the camera died. Nonetheless, we did get some footage and although we may not actually use it in the final cut, it gives us a good idea of what shots and angles work well and it also gave us the chance to play around with the lighting and the way the camera reacted.
We're hoping today's shooting goes better.
Will let you know bloggers.
